Our door will be fully skinned with lexan. We like the improved visibility, especially when doing sightseeing and looking down to earth.
The lexan provided with the kit was sufficient for both complete doors.
One disadvantage is slightly more weight. Many other Rebel builders have done this before and I think the stainless piano hinge at the front will stand this weight also over time.
